THE BASIC LEGAL QUALIFICATION (CAPACITÉ)
The original programme, the Basic Legal Qualification is open to non-bachelor’s candidates. It offers a baccalauréat equivalent and can be used to go on to higher studies. It is compatible with having another job.
BACHELOR’S DEGREES
Two general bachelor’s degrees:
The bachelor of Law can be supplemented with two programmes
A professional degree:
PUBLIC LAW MASTER’S DEGREES
After the first common year of the Master’s in Public Law and following a selection procedure, three master’s courses with a public law focus are offered. They rely on the Centre for Critical Research on Law (CERCRID) for St. Étienne researchers.
The last two Master’s 2 degrees are jointly awarded, and they bring together the Universities of St. Étienne, Lyon III, and Lyon II. Classes may be held in Lyon or St. Étienne.
PRIVATE LAW MASTER’S DEGREES
After a first year in the Master’s programme (Justice Professions/Common business law course/Contract law course) then a selection, four courses are available:
- Business law, Law and enterprise course
- Business law, Business law applied to healthcare course
- Justice, process, proceedings, Justice Professions course
- Private law, Contract law course
The master’s programmes rely on the Centre for Critical Research on Law (CERCRID) for St. Étienne researchers.
